Re: Coaching Ethics Question

why do you have feelings for her? before you start to date someone, or even thinking about dating them, you should find out is she is the kind of person that you would want to marry. not that she has to be the one, but she needs to be the kind of person you could marry. no reason to date someone when you know from the start how it will or will not end. so does she have the kind of character that you would like to see in a wife? do you both share the same worldview? what are her thoughts / beleifs on religion, politics, mens and womens roles in family, children? what are her goals / dreams for where she would like to live? etc.

Re: Coaching Ethics Question

look, life is short and it's all about taking chances. You obviously have some pretty serious feeling about her, enough to put your feelings out onto this forum. Give you props for that, takes balls

I say go for it, if you don't you will always regret it.

Re: Coaching Ethics Question

I guess I don't know what the big deal is, OP. If you think she's hot, single, and you're straight and possess any amount of game, then why not try to go for it?

That CFJ article about sex & CF that came out a few months ago said that's a big fantasy of female Crossfitters...the trainer/trainee fantasy. If she's down, I say fulfill it.

Re: Coaching Ethics Question

Are you using this coaching thing as an excuse to wimp out or something?

You are definitely overthinking it. I would venture many guys would see this as a perk of being a trainer and not a moral dilemma.

Just commit to failing spectacularly and it will all end up working out. Or at least thats how my life seems to go...

Re: Coaching Ethics Question

I have come to the conclusion that this thread is useless without pics of said female.

Re: Coaching Ethics Question

think this crossed the line for forum rules of no SEX, religion, or politics... at the very least it is highly tacky and crude and not appropriate ... reported as such... let's keep it clean and not discuss fantasies and porn plots... thanks.

Re: Coaching Ethics Question

Unfortunately Andrew is right. A potentially useful and thoughtful thread gets dragged into the gutter by a couple of knotheads, and it's over. Sorry, OP.
