Kelly,

You mentioned the "Lifeline Jungle Gym for doorway pullups" in one of your posts what do you think of them? I am always looking for things I can take with me when I travel and this looks interesting.

Also does anyone else have any advice on traveling equipment that will fit in a suitcase? I do a lot of international travel so I need light, practical, and good equipment.

Michael,

They are lightweight and very portable. It has a piece of plastic that wedges tight over the top of the door between the closed and doorframe - much easier on the fingers and much easier on questionable door hinges. You can also throw it or wrap it over a horizontal support for free swinging pullups.

The handles are a slippery plastic and they do rotate over the nylon webbing a little; nice grip workout.

They are less expensive and lighter than Power Rings. I wouldn't try muscleups on them, but pullups and dips (if you tie them so the straps are separated) work fine.

You might look at the www.LifelineUSA.com site - they have a variety of portable equipment that might interest you.
