$60.00 16kg KB, A good deal?

Someone in my area is selling a 16kg Kettlebell for $60. It's from the dragondoor site russiankettlebell.com. He said he would also throw in the book titled The Russian Kettlebell Challenge.

The KB is $89.95 on the site + shipping costs.

This a good deal for a 16kg KB as far as weight vs longevity in usage?

Thanks,
-Mike

Unless you have a local sports store that sells them it's probably a good deal, shipping on those will cost ya. I would still try to barter with him though.

60 bucks for the kettlebell and the book? You said he is in your are so no shipping? If so take the deal, and like Tim said try to barter with him, but 60 bucks is good because the shipping in online buys hits you hard.

Also, if this is a dragondoor bell, then it's top-of-the-line quality. They sell for a lot more than that on their website, and most people consider them to be one of the best on the market. The book alone would cost you 20 dollars on Amazon. I'd take the deal.

I say buy it, but only if you're going to use it.

that is a very good deal;

$60 for a DD 16kg bell and one of Pavel's books? (usually about ~$35)
