Keeping a Garage gym clean

So just curious what everyone else does to keep your garage gym clean? Part of my problem maybe that our yard still needs grass in areas but anyway. I am needing to buy a new bar and want to keep it clean unlike the last one which kept dirt on it. Is weep at least once a week if not more and bug my wife to keep the door down as much as possible. Ultimately i want a small 1 car garage/she'd just for my gym but it's not feasible right now.

Ditto on leaf blower.

I keep the "light" stuff hanging and in corner. Rest won't blow away with leaves.

Re: Keeping a Garage gym clean

I use a good old fashioned corn broom. Sometimes I make it part of my warm up and do some shoulder dislocates with it. lol

Re: Keeping a Garage gym clean

As most others have said, grab a leaf blower. I sweeped mine for the first few months and it was never clean and it always takes forever. Now I break out the leaf blower once a weak and the place is spotless.

Re: Keeping a Garage gym clean

Being on an unpaved road we have trouble with rocks, sand, and other debris coming down our driveway (our affiliate is in our garage at the bottom of the driveway). When it rains we get water in the front as well. We use a push broom/regular broom, mop for deep cleaning days, and a leaf blower. We will probably invest in a shop vac soon for high up cobwebs, small rocks/dirt in corners etc.

Thanks for the input I've used a broom for to long. Never thought of a leaf blower. Going to have to invest in a cheap one soon

leaf blower for sure. i bought this cheapo one from Amazon not expecting much but let me tell you, it really surprised me. its got more than enough power to quickly clean my entire garage so no more broom for me (and i have tons of stuff that keeps coming into my garage whenever my wife parks her car)

Re: Keeping a Garage gym clean

I have the as seen on tv leaf bower that turns into a vacuum at the flip of a switch. Blow it out on calm days and vacuum up leaves on windy days when you want to keep more leaves from blowing in. I also mop once a day just to stay ahead of it.
