I'm going to home depot today to pick up supplies to make the 20# medicine ball for today's WOD. While I was there, I thought I'd pick up the plywood, epoxy and weather-proofing in order to make some rings as well (sorry, Tyler - can't wait till Christmas). I'd tried searching, but couldn't find any source that specified what the regulation size of gymnastics rings are. (Did find a cool poster at though). Does anyone know this information? If so, should I adjust the size since I am making them out of plywood? Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure of the exact measurement, but the inside diameter of mine is about nine 9 inches. They work great for me. Of course I have average sized hands, so adjust to fit.

By the way, let the epoxy really soak in good, it helps harden them for dynamic moves.
