Regional OVERALL rankings
Probably not the first one to think of this but does anyone know if HQ or anyone creates an overall leader board for regionals? What I mean by this is if someone (obviously the scoring would have to be updated to work with a lot more athletes) created a leaderboard for everyone who took part in the regionals, giving them scores and having an overall winner. I know its not 100% representative but it'd be cool to see how it matches up to who actually wins the games and placements and what not.

Re: Regional OVERALL rankings
The last couple of years, this website has done exactly what you're asking for.
http://www.crossfitregionalshowdown.com/ (wfs) Maybe they're working on this year's data, as there's nothing there right now. |

Re: Regional OVERALL rankings
that would be a tough call to be in the last regionals and have all of that practice time. I am sure that the big boys and girls do the events for a run thru and just wing it.. but the others must obsess about the events.
Would be good to see how people did. Who was the best and which region was the hardest. |

Re: Regional OVERALL rankings
Flo Elite has a regional superboard:
http://www.floelite.com/result/8815-...rs-leaderboard wfs This leaderboard is like the Open: 1 point for first, 2 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd. It is not like regionals: 100 points for first, 95 for 2nd, 90 for third. |

Re: Regional OVERALL rankings
These are great to see. Each week the athletes have more time to practice week 3 vs. week 1. Kara Webb in the first week rocked it. I think that all of the prime time players would do fine with what ever week they get and what ever workout they throw at them. 5 Central men.. still so strong. Meridian girls.. wow.. beasts.
Next month in Carson will be epic as usual. |

Re: Regional OVERALL rankings
I'm disappointed that the Regional Showdown didn't get posted this year. The FloElite leader board is interesting, but it only includes Games qualifiers. I liked that the Regional Showdown always included all of he athletes and teams from each of the regions. It was cool to see who might have qualified through, if they were competing in a different region.

Re: Regional OVERALL rankings
awesome, thanks for the replies. And I definitely see the advantage of a couple extra weeks of practise, but some athletes are just more dominant for certain workouts and its nice to see it summarized.

Re: Regional Online Qualifier Cuts
Hello All,
The Games rulebook really isn't clear when talking about the numbers to qualify for the Online Regionals. For Master's & Teen's division, do they take the top 200 male & female in the world or is it the top 100 male & female worldwide? Thank you! |
