In my (limited) experience with leasing office space, any improvements we made to the property were always "on our own nickel", and they stayed there (to the landlord's benefit) when we outgrew the space.
Such is life . . . I was just happy to have a growing business. If you manage to grow enough to need a bigger / better space, you won't worry about the $500 - $1,000 bucks or so you spent on a shower. (Of course, up front it can be kinda scary to lay out any more money.) Maybe you don't have to have it on Day One? Just make sure you have room and approvals to install it quickly as you build the business and your revenue? Dave |
