Help with strengthening leg

What ways are there to strengthen my left leg? Because I can do all the pistols in the world (exaggeration) but I can't do a single one on my left. Is there any way to fix this? Any help is appreciated.

Sure. Not a huge deal. Bulgarian split squats are the obvious choice. You can add weight with a barbell or DB's.

If you're not strong enough for split squats, I would start with one-leg leg press.

Have you tried pistol box squats gradually lowering the height?

You could also wrap a band around a vertical suppourt then take hold and use this to help pull yourself back up.

These 2 are great progressions. I also find that holding a small weight out in front helps me counter-balance, making it easier.
