Re: Cfcc Bccc 2010

Can anyone give me some more ideas on ways to add in good fat to my diet? I already eat olive oil and meat, but anything else that's easy?

Re: Cfcc Bccc 2010

Coconut oil and milk, butter (just watch portions but the real grassfed thing can be good for you I'm small amounts...particularly because it flavors what you cook well!), small pieces of Bacon, different nut oils for salad (i like sesame and walnut). Also... a bit of cream goes a long way and so does some cheese to adding flavor). I usually err on the side of too much fat so remember... a little goes a long way.

Expect a post on the blog on this soon.

Re: Cfcc Bccc 2010

TOTALS:
CALORIES - 996
CARBS 93
FAT 46
PROTEIN -58

This was NOT a normal day for me. I just had no appetite. Only ate a little salad with some chicken all day and a small dinner.

This will change...

Re: Cfcc Bccc 2010

Ok, so here it goes...my first post....

I guess first I will start with the daily totals I am trying to target.
Calories 1,514
Pro: 110
Fat: 55
Carb: 120-150 (depending on activity level for the day)

Today, I was pretty close on target. I came in a bit under on fat, but since a majority of my food is being prepared for me I am sure there was hidden fats I didn't account for in the number below.

Cal: 1,175
Pro: 114
Fat: 34
Carb: 104

For detail on specific food http://fitday.com/fitness/PublicJour...ner=bea3545725 (SFW)

I think this is going to be an interesting/ sometimes frustrating challenge for me since I am traveling for the duration of the time. I have already realized healthy food options in airport terminals is pretty poor. In order to combat this I am trying to plan in advance my daily meals and minimize the amount of pre-prepared food I am actually eating. I actually just got back from the local Wegman's to get some strawberries, greek yogurt, sweet potatoes, etc..
