Re: Cfcc Bccc 2010

http://fitday.com/fitness/PublicJour...Owner=mpro1963 0 (Safe for Family/Work, not safe for good nutrition!)

Wanted to record what I normally eat for a few days to see where my adjustments would have to be for the CFCCBCCC.

Hooboy! Well, no wonder I have 10-12 lbs of blubber jiggling around my middle, esp. during single unders and "before" photos. (see attached, SFF/W)

Big surprise, I eat way more fat and carbs from less-than-optimal sources compared to my lower-than-optimal protein intake.

Sunday, I buy the supplies, Monday, the start gun goes off.

Daily Macronutrient Targets:
PRO - 151g
CHO - 150-160g
FAT - 75g

P.S. - If you eat something from a big chain restaurant (Corner Bakery, PotBelly, etc.), you can surf their website for nutritional info for all their products. That's an eye opener! Plus, you can create a custom entry for FitDay for that sodium-laden, saturated fat-bomb sandwich you eat three times a week, Porky! lol

No. Plain whey pre would be good.

Re: Cfcc Bccc 2010

Hey quick question:

tried to look this up online but can't find anything helpful:

on days I run about 5 - 8 miles at a comfortable pace (9:00 - 10:00 m miles) about how many additional carbs, protein and fat g should I intake? Is there a way to break it down by additional miles or pace?

Not really counting my calories as such, just the macro-nutrients, and all we could find online was miles - calories burned conversions. Anyone know of any website/calculator helpful for this?

Thanks.

Protein: 98.8g (-17g)
Carbs: 120.7g (-5g)
Fat: 51.1g (-7g)

Today was kind of an off day for me, I've been battling a cold for the past few days and it seemed to peak today. Was sad to have to miss the metcon today (as tough as it seemed) but hoping I'll feel up to going tomorrow.

10:30a 16oz. coffee
1:00p 2T sunbutter + 1/4C raisins
3:00p 16oz. coffee + KIND bar
5:30p 1C korean seaweed + 8 pan-fried vegetable/fish patties
9:00p 16oz. coffee
2:00a apple + 2T almond butter

Totals (not including 5:30 meal):
PRO: 91g (+7)
CHO: 128g (-7)

Not the best planned food day. Drove to Boston, so ate on the road and did not plan ahead. Maintained healthy food choices but most likely went over on everything. Better planning necessary.

Re: Cfcc Bccc 2010

8/7/10

8:15a banana + 16oz. coffee, black
10:30a KIND bar + 1 1/4C trail mix (dried fruit and nuts)
2:00-8:00p lots of food: steak, chicken, pork, hot dogs, zucchini, roasted sweet potatoes, lots of fruit, salad
8:30p 1/2 whole wheat english + butter

Family reunion. Lots of food. Did not bother recording exact amounts. Avoided the 18 varieties of desserts available but did eat 1/2 english muffin with butter. I decided it was a fair compromise over brownies and cookies. And i couldn't eat any more meat. Had a massive amount of fruit salad.
