rubber olympic weights/bars

Does anyone know where there is a good place to buy explosive orientated weights like those shown in the examples?

Re: rubber olympic weights/bars

You mean bumper plates and oly lifting bars?

Jon's prices are pretty well on par with what I've seen elsewhere, and the Crossfit discount he gives makes the bars actually pretty cheap. He's a crossfitter himself, and I have only heard positive reviews of his business.

Hey Aaron,

Here is a thread I was looking at earlier today that should prove helpful.
http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=22613

Also, try using the "search" function that this board has. A lot of people miss out on a wealth of information by failing to use it!

I just bought bumpers from the garage gym store for a great price and they offered free shipping. Very hard to beat that. Crossfit San Diego has a link to the store on their site.

Buy the CrossFit Discount Set from here: http://store.wfwclub.com/crweset.html
Buy 1-2 pairs of 10# plates from here: http://wrightexercise.com/site/produ...S&SubCatID=179

You're set.

Hi Aaron,

The best source of info on Crossfit related equipment that I have found is (WFS): Garage Gym Shopping list (courtesy of Crossfit Weekend Warriors).

Oh, and the search function

Cheers,
Sam

Re: rubber olympic weights/bars

I bought 4 bars used a few years ago, but I don't know if they would be considered 'olympic'. Is there any measurement/things to look at to figure out if its olympic?

Whoops, thought I was posting in a different thread.
