I have been looking at the Gym Jones site recently. The workouts are very well thought out. I am a little confused as to the sequences though. Day 1 might be: Power/endurance/strength/strength/ Day 2: Power/crossfit/crossfit. I think I understand that I would do one of the workouts each day but how do you decide which ones?

We work with clients of varied ability, with varying goals, inconsistent schedules and some injuries. We tailor work to them according to what they have recently done in sport or work environment, or what they must do in the near future. We also tailor individually according to goals and needs.

What you see on the site is not a recommendation. We post results, what we are doing and what our outliers are doing.

How do you decide? A roll of the dice, scissors-paper-rock with a friend, write down how many pull-ups you think you can do, go for it and if you miss the target do the hardest workout posted for the day, etc.

My favorite? Do the workout that you deserve.

Thanks Mark. I have been doing Crossfit on and off for the past year or so. I have strayed into Dan John's O-lift programs every couple of months for skill development but I think I am going to chase the GymJones workouts for awhile.
I enjoyed Extreme Alpinism by the way.
