I love the concept and format of the WOD but have one issue with embracing it completly. I need foresight to see the upcoming WODs so that I can plan my sport specific training/pratice accordingly. Now I know that I could follow a week behind the posted WOD, but the community is so much stronger when everyone is doing the same WOD the same day. I would rather post my results the day the workout is posted than a week late. I have noticed that there is sometimes advanced postings of the WOD, maybe when Coach goes out of town? But I think that would help out more people than you realize if that pratice became the norm.

You can always do the WODs a week behind and post in that specific category when you do them.

One thing I have found is that the WODs I do, the faster I recover, and I am able to do other exercises the same day / workout.
