Re: Oly Cert

There is a lot about what the weight classes are, rules of competitive weightlifting, how to become a club or an international coach. Stuff like that that most of us don't need to know unless we want to be a weightlifting coach specifically (which I do by the way). Otherwise, it is similar in content. Where Coach B teaches you the movements by making you do them, USAW shows them to you and then lets you go over them in the free time. They are both good certs, and since USAW is a currently accredited cert, it is good to take, but for my money, the Coach B cert is better. And that is recognizing that I had Paul Fleschler teaching my USAW cert, he was the resident coach at the OTC here in the Colorado Springs and is a phenomenal coach as well as a CrossFit Affiliate. He is actually working with Burg now (as are some of the best Oly Coaches in the Country).
