No problem.

Read the thread "plandomization" it explains what periodization is and why it's effective. All it really means is "If you have a specific goal, come up with a specific plan to achieve it". You wouldn't take random classes picked out of a hat to become a nurse, so why pick random exercise to get better at a specific aspect of fitness?

On and off for about a year. Was untrained before crossfit. I'm also a teen, which is probably why I am progressing so fast.

Well cross fit is an excellent program too. But eventually you'll need to tweak things to continue to make gains in specific areas
