Re: 2016 Games Banter...starting off with Murph

They are doing Murph early in the morning so heat is less of an issue compared to last year.

Best women's times are three minutes faster than last year. I think a big part of that improvement is the heat, as well as partitioning the work into rounds.

Bridges first onto second mile;

ohlsen and fraser just about even for 2nd place

*edit*

fraser well ahead of ohlsen for 2nd; squats slowed him (ohlsen) down

It seems like they've got the athlete's timing chips linked to the leaderboard on the games website. The times are being posted almost immediately. Cool!

they should make more use of that rectangle-arrow thing to point out the athletes on the field

Re: 2016 Games Banter...starting off with Murph

some surprising finishes some not so much. (not surprising bridges on murph, surprising briggs on murph)

holding out for the programming to get better/more interesting/exciting.

fairly tight race so far, glad to see some Canadians doing well in the mens, pulling for Vigneault to beat out Fikowski
