Re: Zombie training 101 w/ CrossFit!

Morgan... when this apocalypse occurs, the electrical grid is eventually going to fail. I don't want to live in a world where I cannot listen to death metal.

I guess we'll be able to loot a lot of batteries though, hm?

Damn, I did not think of this. A life without metal isn't a life at all. A device needs to be created where I can pedal on a bike or row or something and that could power the ipod or stereo.

Damn zombies, always trying to ruin my heavy metal addiction.

The pending zombie invasion is the main reason for me getting laser surgery on my eyes. Don't want to wake up in the middle of the night with a zombie in the room and then have to put in contacts.

Re: Zombie training 101 w/ CrossFit!

I anticipate zombies being slow.
Zombies do not have physiological functions (processing food for energy) so they can't energize their muscles like a normal human. Thus the muscles will simply decay and they will only be able to shamble aimlessley towards us....easily picked off by your weapon of choice.
What are your weapons of choice?
Me:
Medium range - M14 .762
Short range - Remington 870 12ga
Sidearm - Glock 22 .40cal
CQB - Spyderco "Forrester" 12" machete.

dunno he's gotten kinda rotund. Might be good if you want something for them to snack on before you bail. Plus chainsaws are loud. I'd like a nice lupua .338 or .308 AR-10 with leupold 9x or 10x scope. Loud but only once and from a nice head start. :sniper;

Remember, guns need reloading; not an easy task when running from a hoard of hungry zombies. I think I'd be good with a cricket bat and a shotgun in case I needed a quick escape.

very true. But I'm also a firm believer in overkill. SO i'd probably have my shotguns, handguns and rifles thrown in my jeep with my aide bag and bug out bags. I've got some landscaping tools that might be beneficial as well. Weed slingers, shovels ( sharp edge might be nice) and one of those machete things on a pole( still not sure how i aquired that) So I might be okay. But wonder if an affiliate would be open to a crossfit colony? you know lots of motivated in shape people from varying backgrounds. might be a cool idea.

Bring on the zombie apocalypse already
