Distance to facility

This is probably not the correct area to be asking this but can any of the box owners give me an idea of their members who travel a long way to do Crossfit. The closest one to me is 88 miles and I am really debating the pros and cons. Thanks.

Re: Distance to facility

We have some folks that travel quite a ways to get to us... not 88 miles though. That's a ways, we do have some people that do this occasionally, but no regulars that travel that far. It depends what you can get out of the affiliate. If they have specific coaching you're looking for then a periodic trip out there could be highly beneficial. If you haven't been coached in the movements then the trip would be worthwhile as well.

Re: Distance to facility

We have one member who drives about 45 minutes to our box twice a week. Of course, he works 10 minutes away from us so it's actually not as far away as it seems.

Have you been to the affiliate that is (sort of) near you yet? If they really know their stuff and you like the atmosphere, etc, it may be worth the trip to drop in at least once in a while. That way you can pick up some tips on your form, get to connect with some new like-minded folks, and all that good stuff.
