I work at a gymnastics facility in Petaluma, Ca. Very close to Santa Rosa, as well as Marin. We may have a large room available for rent soon, and I'm just itching to get moving on a CF gym.

I simply need to know if there is enough interest on this board to even get something like this started in this area. Anybody from the area and wanting someplace to work out?

Daniel you're gonna have to go and start it. While you will get some clients from the existing CF community you're going to have to get the word out locally. With very little marketing effort so far CF Marin is getting known and talked about. We're scaling pretty slowly at this point. The cost base on that room is going to determine how quickly you'll have to scale.

Daniel we chatted several months ago about getting together for some workouts, hasnt happened yet...
I'm interested and motivated to assist in starting a gym, when I can fit it around a hectic work schedule and family.
Been working on a garage gym, but a facility would be great!

Hey Eric,

I've been working on a garage gym lately, as well. I also sucked a friend of mine into Crossfitting with me there, and he has some insight as far as real-estate issues go, so he may be of some help to us. What's your work schedule like? We should find a time to sit down and meet face to face.

Daniel,
Emailed you.
Anyone else interested in working on this?
I think Sonoma County has the potential to support a CF facility, with a strong base of interested folks getting the ball rolling.

How many of you run or help run a facility while working a day job? I averaged 50+ hours a week at work this year, but I'd love to pour some of that energy into a facility and training others.

That's only a hop, skip, and jump from Petaluma. Good luck guys. May get some people from Santa Rosa, but that will probably be big enough to support it's own group one day.

Danny would be basically your man when it comes to gymnastics in that area, that I know of.

Sweet, I'll be in there as much as time permits. Shoot me an email if and when you need some assistance with anything, or just want to bounce some ideas off of someone. And keep us posted on progress, etc.
