Hilarious doggie dream

This guy takes chasing cats in his dreams to a whole new level.

I think he was just about to catch it

Ha! That's great.

I feel his pain. I've had plenty of dreams (not generally chasing cars / cats, mind you) where I wake up with that sort of leaping-from-bed, explosive "WTF!?!" kind of thing and more than once have smashed myself against the wall next to my bed...

I did that once into a concrete wall. It was painful as hell and would have been really embarassing if I hadn't been sleeping alone.

Re: Hilarious doggie dream

It's things like these that make me say "no, they ARE dreaming" instead of just having random neural impulses like many folks think. Had something similar happen to our wee pup long ago where she was snarling with her mouth closed in her sleep... woke her up and she leaped up and bit me, then spent about five minutes apologizing. Pretty interesting trying to figure out how their brains work sometimes.

I don't know... I think they work pretty much like ours, just a little less complicated; they love, they fear, they have things they like and things they don't. They get neurotic, they get sad, they get excited when the people they love come home.
