Beaufort-Mike and Mark

Crossfit warmup x 1.
Mike only did 8 pullups.

5 rounds for time:
10 pushups
10 squats
10 knees to elbows- after failure switch to situps with feed held

Mark
51 sec
1:00 sec
1:59 secs
1:35 sec 5 knees to elbows
1:06 secs
Total time: 6:31

Mike
1:22 sec 10 knees to elbows
1:02 sec
1:01 sec
1:22 sec
2:50 sec
Total time: 7:37

Messed around with hand stands.
Mark did 3 handstands against a wall for 20 secs.
Mike did 1.

Finished up with 400m runs, both got 1:20 secs.

Yesterday Mark and Mike did Tabata jumping pullups for 8 rounds.

Mike: Started off with 4 but fell to 1 last round.
Mark: Started off with 4, fell to 2-3 last round.

Today: Mike did Gwen
First time doing clean and jerk so took it easy.
15-12-9
45#-55#-65# as Rx'd.

Death by pullups- 1 pullup every minute adding one per minute
5rounds + 5.

After pullups played around with shoulder presses. Made it to 100# at 168#. I felt like I could do more, but don't have bumpers or a squat rack. Had to clean before I could press.

Did deadlift. Worked up to 255#. Probably did 6 or so to get to that. Grip was starting to slip a little and didn't want to break the ground. Definitely want to go a little heavier next time.

Did Kelly two days ago.

three rounds of:
400m
15 20# dumbbell thrusters
15 21~ inch box jumps

Did deadlift today. Ran out of weights, 126.5 kgs, have to get more or go somewhere else to get more weight. Last rep had to switch to split grip, hands were giving out.

After deadlift got together with Mark and exercised.
4 rounds of:
400m
30 air squats

Mark: 12:40
Mike: 13:40

Mark could have finished earlier, but he ran backwards to let me keep up. We also counted each others reps out loud on the last two rounds.

I want to start using the hurdles they have at the track we go to. Hurdles are lots of fun.

Quarter gone bad:
5 rounds of
15secs of Thrusters 135#, rest 45 secs
15 secs of pullups 50#, rest 45 secs
15 secs of burpees, rest 45 secs

Mark:
40 kg thrusters, unweighted pullups
Thrusters: 7 7 6 6 6
Pullups: 7 7 6 5 8
Burpees: 4 6 6 7 7

Mike:
40 kg thrusters for first 3 rounds, finished with 65# thrusters, unweighted pullups
Thrusters: 5 4 4 5 4
Pullups: 8 4 5 4 4
Burpees: 6 5 5 5 4

I did a wickedly inefficient kip. Basically a knee to elbow and then a whip back to get myself over bar. My elbow is hurting now, 15 minutes after workout, probably from the kip, or maybe throwing myself down for the burpee.

WOD was 5 rounds of run 400m, 15 OHS 95#. Still having trouble OHSing the bar so worked on broomstick OHS and did 50 jumping squats with just the bar for time. 3:26. Also did some jumprope.
