The reason I post here is that the Exercise portion of the formula could use a dose of CrossFit. I am not qualified to write it, but perhaps someone here might want to act as Ambassador.

I think he's right: fitness does exist on a continuum, and very few couch potatoes will easily move to CrossFit, even though it is highly scalable. Moving for 15 to 30 minutes daily is a more realistic goal for most people.

I like his use of math too. That's my style, although my "derivations" differ somewhat.

He's a bright guy. He has an MBA from Cal, and spent quite a few years at Pac Bell as a mid-level manager. He's a bit cynical for me in his strip, but all too often distressingly accurate. When he nails it, it's almost not funny, it's reality.
