Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

Hi. I started doing crossfit about a week ago, on the recommendation of a friend. I've been lurking around here reading posts, but figured I should drop a line.

So far I'm really enjoying the workouts (even though I can't do most of them without modifications, - thanks brandx!) I've never done any lifting, but it's amazing how good doing squats and the olympic lifts leave you feeling.

It's a little tricky learning the lifts, despite all the great advice on these boards and the videos, but I'm getting it. The biggest issue for me is I am long limbed and tall, so I feel awkward doing a lot of the movements. I hope it is just a lack of practice.

Anyway, that's my rambling hello, so I'll just end by saying thanks to everyone, coach, the guys at brandx and all the supportive people on these boards.
