I've pretty much decided to do the 2011 warrior dash in NY. Just curious what is the atmosphere like? Specifically, is it family/child friendly? Or does it devolve into a rowdy drunken Viking bash?

My kids are a little too young to participate this year.

You guys should all check out Ruckus Boston. I did the event last year and it kicked my ace.

It's about 3.5 miles but much more intense, and a ton more challenging obstacles. I had a great time at Warrior Dash, but Ruckus was actually tough and I had a blast.

The race this year is June 4th in Marshfield, MA, and the website is
