tried surfing to the url posted at CF's HQ Main Page-the url comes up as "unavailable".

I'm interested in reading up on the ME BlackBox cycle in April's issue of the "Performance Menu".

(i suppose I could just wait!)

Or maybe the url changed? I'm not sure. TIA.

Dan--now I know it was you behind this whole thing. Only an evil genius of your magnitude could manufacture such a catastrophic event and then attempt to frame an innocent and well-meaning young man like me. I'm on to you.

Not unless you buy me dinner first.

Game-on then, though.

Excellent site design, btw Greg. What backend/front-end technologies is the NorCal site using? (assuming you're the Webmaster/Server Administrator/Emergency IT Guy...how we love our acronyms + titles in the industry)

ps. why pass up on a free dinner? Dan sounds charming in an "evil genius" way....

Dan's not my type precisely for the reason that he feels dinner is a requisite courting activity. Besides, he only seems charming until he gets what he wants, and then you're just sitting in an empty motel room with no wallet or underwear wondering what happened.

Regarding the website, yes I'm the moron behind it and am currently having a great deal of fun attempting to reconstruct it. The store is run by a ridiculously hacked OSCommerce script, the search deal is from Sphider, and the rest is my own mildly retarded recipe of PHP/MySQL. I take it you do some similar nonsense?

The site, by the way, is essentially back in business. The "purchase without account" feature in the store is producing some error messages, but you can order Issue 3 now (you just have to create an account, which is painless, I promise).

No promises of 100% functionality at this point, though--there are probably a few bugs here and there I've missed.

Also, www.performancemenu.com exists now (although not entirely complete and probably full of problems).
