Rings a nd a dioor way pullup bar

Hi

My local stores sells a cantilever doorway pullup bar for $10. Looks very similar to the Iron Gym bar but a 1/3 of the price. Is there much variance between the different manufacturers.

I'm also hoping to get a set of rings soon. How well do the work if you suspend them from a door way pullup bar. I realize height may be an issue.

I just got rings for Xmas. I mounted them for a couple of days on a Door Gym. It wasgood for dips rows pushups and for MU progressions. Not for MUs obviously. I only took it down because my wife came back from her family's and would've objected to them hanging in our spare room doorway.

i also hang my rings from the iron gym pullup bar. everytime i pass the doorway i do some pullups / ring dips.

and at night, when you wake up half asleep and groggy, they kinda look like gallows.

I hang my rings from my Iron Gym bar too. They're in my bathroom doorway, and I take them down at night because I walked into them one night and scared myself half to death...

I have a Wieder Doorway pull-up bar. I do hang my rings from it and I can do Muscle-ups in it. The rings hang about 14" down and I am just short enough to be able to hang from them and do MUs. Not ideal, but I did learn MUs on them.

Re: Rings a nd a dioor way pullup bar

I have to tuck my knees up in my doorway to do pullups on my Iron Gym. If I can do anything with Rings on them that would be great! I was a bit apprehensive until this post.

I'll have to give it a shot.
