Kopecky's CrossFit Log

Hello all... I've decided to start keep a CF log. Will have to retro it back to 1/7/08.
==============================================

1/7/08: My first day CrossFitting, this was not the Rx'd WOD, and I didn't keep numbers since I was more interested to find out if I could do it. Almost met pukie.

Push-ups on knees
Sit-ups
Air Squats
==============================================

1/8/08: WOD - "Cindy"

I think this turned into a rest day. I'm not comfortable with a "clean" lift yet, and as a newbie I wasn't sure what to sub.
==============================================

1/13/08: WOD - "With a continuously running clock do one pull-up the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute... continuing as long as you are able. Use as many sets each minute as needed."

Can't do Pull-ups yet, sub'd the following workout...

5 min. stationary bike
20 air squats
20 dips (feet on floor, knees bent)
5 min. stationary bike
20 air squats
20 push-up (from knees)

Nice, so you did the DB deadlifts too!!

Just keep at it. Us woman are strong and this will only make us as physically strong as we are mentally!

Re: Kopecky's CrossFit Log

Thanks Sarena. Will definitely keep at it.

Something interesting happened this evening.... I shoveled my driveway. Granted, it was light, dry snow, only a few inches deep. However, my driveway is 50-60 feet long. In the 6+ years that I've lived here I've always used a snowblower b/c shoveling hurt my lower back and shoulders. Tonight I did the drive and the sidewalks... no lower back pain, no shoulder pain, and except for my fingertips, I really didn't feel all that cold. And it's all of 16 degrees here.
