Re: Nik

Respect for the 15 attempts Nik, all that work will strengthen you for next time when you kill it.

Re: Nik

Good try Nik sometimes its not just about the strength but the technique as well. My last set i got 210lbs and felt i had more in me so i went for 220lbs. I had my version of your 180 with the 220 lol. i just couldn't get under it!!

Don't worry about it Nik, just keep working on your technique and you'll be building up little by little. Thats how all of these oly lifts are. You gotta spend some good time working on the technique and the numbers will fly up. Unless you are a freak of Nature like Scott and upright row 220lbs

Re: Nik

We made some progress with Nik's form a bit today. I noticed that he was lifting his hips quicker than his shoulders. We did some practice and worked on that. Other than that, he has pretty good form. I think he just needs to get more power out of the drive.

I, on the other hand, get more power out of my drive but wuss out with my shrug and elbows. I think we are both capable of more weight. It'll just take practice to build the confidence.

Yes, I am threatening them now. I figure to get stronger arms do pullups(dead hang if you got them. What is harder than that? ONE ARM. I can hold at the top for just a sec with my left arm, a little shorter with my right.

Ernie, you have all the room in the world.
15 attempts! way to chase that pb!

taking your weight into consideration you've got to be one of the strongest pound for pound guy on here.
