Wow, sweet bar. How did you get it for free? Did know the guy or something? What is a Belgian Space and Environment Research center? Where did you get the tape you use for you medicine ball? Mine is not very durable so I usually slam it on the grass or somewhere soft.

That makes me laugh, you go to all that effort to take the pics and post them up here for us all and the first post you get is to label it not WFS by someone whos not even a mod. Never mind the post police, the rest of us appreciate it.
Like you, I also appreciated his effort. I really like looking at other people's setups and home gyms. I'm sorry if I came across as the post police ...

Here's the deal - I post on this forum from work. I work for a company that does not believe in cubicles and everybody's screen is wide open for everybody else to see (not that I would look at pornography anyway ...). When I clicked the first link - the first thing I saw was a poster of a woman half-naked ... not the kind of thing that I would like my boss to see if he was walking behind me at the time.

That is one of the reasons for the rule to add WFS or Not WFS to any links ... I was just putting it out there so that if anybody else was going to look then maybe they would wait until they got home - that's all.

Curious, what does your boss say when he sees you playing on the internet when you are at work?

Re: My homegym ...

No problem Andy.

Some employers are a more strict than others what concerns some images. I'll try to get a mod to put it on.

I got it for free because I indeed know the guy and he used to rent an apartment my family owns.

That research center is not named like I first stated(I had to look it up myself though)and is located in Belgium, where I live.
It is a Meteorological Institute responsible for scientific research activities and public service tasks in the field of sciences of the atmosphere and meteorological geophysics, hydrology, geomagnetism and magnetohydrodynamics.
So not totally space after all.

That tape I got was just some strong black industrial tape. Helga tore open one time, but I increased the amount of tape I used and haven't had a problem since.
One other thing to consider is not to fill your ball too little(due to shifting problems)and not too much(due to bursting problems). The latter seldom occurs.
If you fill a med ball, make sure to use your thumbs to press it in properly, so almost no space remains.

Good question. He's kind of like a ninja ... He just sneaks up when you least suspect it. But he hasn't said anything to me about it and I've been here for a year.

I keep my IE window behind all of my other apps and just sneak it in there every 10 - 15 minutes when I get to small breaks in my projects.

I'm surprised they haven't yet. Usually, when someone forgets, they come in like the calvary. You have a sweet setup though ... and some impressive lifts!

Question - How is your squat so close to your dead lift?

Thanks.

That squat was done in a powerlifting competition with a belt and knee wraps, wide stance and to just below parallel.

My olympic deep squat is 190 kilos(418lbs), butt to heels, with a belt. That's the mayor difference. Plus I'm very much built to deadlift, with long arms and legs. Love the lift.

Ok, no offense meant Andy, there just seems to be a lot of that here even when the posts are WFS.

Wow that sounds important. Reminds me of my favorite called Fringe. Anyway you're very lucky indeed. For medicine ball my tape was like duct tape but looks shiney and plastic-y. It called Flex-Fix. Really hard when my lawn is moist to grip on and doesn't bonce up. It may have been a little too heavy for me to use it for conditioning purposes. So it's slow and explosive instead of fast and explosive. I might buy a new one or just pour some sand out. Its about 20 pounds by the way. How much is yours?

Mine are almost identical. I don't get it, because I see very few people who don't deadlift a lot more than they squat.

415 is my BS pr
405 is my DL pr
