Jerk blocks

Greetings,
I have opted for squat stands and some form of jerk blocks as opposed to a power rack. I'm considering this design:

Is anyone aware of any cheaper alternatives to buying the timber and knocking it together. I'm looking at 600lb capacity.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Jerk blocks

I'm currently building these blocks. I've had to build in stages due to cost(about $300) but these are very well designed and should stand up to anything I'll throw at it.

Yeah, I agree with the cost issue. If you need to drop $600 to build those wooden ones, you might as well save another $100 and buy the nice metal ones from Pendlay.
