What I ate:
Breakfast: Cup blueberries, hardboiled egg
Post-workout: hardboiled egg
Lunch: homemade turkey chili with brown rice
Afternoon snack: 1/2 cottage cheese, 10 raw almonds
Dinner: 1 cup steamed brocoli, small salad, 1/2 turkey burger (it was gross)
Evening: whey protein shake with peanut butter

Tuesday 8/10

I'm not sure if I should put the link to my fitday food journal in all of my posts or just post my totals for the day... so here is the link just in case: http://fitday.com/fitness/PublicJour...er=sydneysolow

Totals for today:
Protein: 114 + 30 (pre and post) = 144 (36 over)
Carbs: 77 + 15 (pre) = 92 (28 under)
Fat: 46 (8 under)
Calories: 1,358 (40 under)

Activity: Crossfit, "Death by pull-ups"

All in all a much better day for my food choices. Still feeling good and noticing that I am less hungry than last week.

Did so much better today. Still went about 30 grams over on protein today, but better than yesterday. Just got to work at 8, and will be here for another 12 hours, so there will be much more eating left....but after midnight I count it onto the next day's tally.

So apparently it's not working....

Today, in total throughout the day:
Quaker Oatmeal 150 cals, 3g fat, 27g carb, 5g protein
GNC Whey Protein: 390 cals, 8g fat, 15g carb, 60g protein
Skim Milk: 240 cals, 0g fat, 36g carb, 24g protein
Blueberries: 84 cals, 0g fat, 21g carb, 1g protein
Chicken breast: 520 cals, 4g fat, 0 carb, 108g protein
Broccoli: 62 cals, 0g fat, 12g carb, 6g protein
Zone Perfect Bar: 210 cals, 7g fat, 24 g carb, 14g protein

Totals:
Cals: 1656
Carb: 135 g
Fat: 22g
Protein: 218 g

Low on the fat, but going to pick up some nuts at the store tomorrow probably. And there may be one more small meal before midnight tonight, we'll see how it goes.

Day 2 went smoothly, except for dinner which turned out not to be as bad as I thought. Last minute change in plans and I ended up with the following totals:

Pro = 94.4
CHO = 156.6
Fat = 48.5
Cals = 1399
