OHS pr, Just wanted to share!

I have been trying to get my OHS up to 15 x BW (I currently tip the scales at 228lbs). I'm a long way off! Part of the problem has been that I was afraid to really push my limits. Well, I evaluated my "poor" attitude and started pushing.

Yesterday, after a long slow build up, I topped out at 171lb OHS. I went for 181, but... that was a bit too much.

Cheers
Rayne

Great job. I like to see the proper depth at the bottom position.

Rayne - congrats! Get your toes turned out a bit more and knees - push them out a lot and aggressively! That'll put more pounds over your head!

Good stuff, I had a PR today too.

OHS build up quickly, you'll get to your bodyweight soon !

Ditto-

Nice work!

I have bad shoulder AND hip flexibility.
A2A with anything overhead is a BIG challenge for me.

Keep up the good work!

Re: OHS pr, Just wanted to share!

Thanks Sean,

Flexibility has been a challenge for me also. However, it does seem to be improving, slowly.

The funny thing is I have always been able to place my palms on the floor while standing and could touch my head to my knees. "Man, Im flexible!" I thought. Then I started squating deep and began to realize how inflexible I really am.

Cheers

Rayne - who is sitting in a deep squat as he types this... GTG, GTG, GTG.
