Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

Ok so here it is I want to know what a black box is, and I want to know if there is anyone in the Whittier,Ca area who does workouts or anyone whom can help me with form be it a gym etcetera.

Ian,

Black box just means input/output. Adjust input to get desired results (output) without worrying so much about why (what happens inside the black box). Can't help you with trainers in Whittier, though.

thanks i had assumed that but I wanted to make sure. To bad about that I really wanted to see if i could find a local fellow crossfit who might be able be able to help a little more than a video.

Ian,

There are more Crossfit Affiliates in California than anywhere else in the world.

Have you checked out the Community Blog for nearby help? Granted, it won't be free, but a month at an Affiliate is worth about six months of Crossfitting via video.
