I've made some bad decisions in my life, but requesting that Chuck Liddell punch me has not been and will never be one of them

Liddell looked like he wanted to bury that guy after the punch.

I'd love to know the circumference of the bruise that later developed.

How about the incredulous look on Liddell's face when he realized the guy wanted him to hit him as hard as he could. Priceless stupidity.

Allen, yes that was Tony Hawk.

they say Jack Dempsey had his familiar face when he "toy sparred" with friends and celebrities, but when a fight was for real he looked like a different person, with definite malevolent intent in his eyes. That's what I saw in Mr. Liddell's face after the right as opposed to the first left hand. Scary when it's for real. Also note that the punch landed on his arm and he still ended up on the floor.

KO Christner, fresh off the floor at the Goodyear tire plant, once asked to spar with Dempsey. Jack gave him a love tap on the jaw that jammed his teeth into his bridgework.

The average person, even the average athlete, has no idea what it is to hit, and be hit, "as hard as you can". There's a lot of weight behind that fist when it's thrown correctly.

Even little Floyd Mayweather could probably take the average barfly's head clean off with a straight right.
