Re: Looking for some skills to work on

I can't believe no one said handstands yet.
Wall handstands
forward roll
handstand forward roll
freestanding handstands
walking handstands
press to head/handstand

Also:
Olympic lifts with a PVC pipe, working up towards the bar and the floor as you get the movements and skill transfer exercises down.
Double under practice
pistols

I second anyone who said tumbling. Back flipping and round offing is so much fun.

Re: Looking for some skills to work on

I'm thinking about learning/practicing Tai Chi this summer, I think that'd be really interesting and fun to do.

I'm pretty decent at handstands already. Note my avatar.

Pull a handstand on the sphinx and post it. Otherwise, you're a complete wuss.

i have one in my backyard and it's really a lot of fun! (portable, too).
you don't have to buy an expensive 'kit', just get some 1" tubular webbing from a climbing store and either do the set-up using only carabiners, or buy a $15 come-along from home depot (you'll still need a few 'biners).
