Re: Sharknado

Can someone explain to me the fundamental mechanics of Bring Sally Up so I can do it w/out anything except the weights( no pre-recorded voice saying up and down). Is it just 30 reps of something with a 3 second hold on the concentric part? Like squatting, holding for three seconds, then exploding up and then coming back down? If so, I might do the squat version at 115 pounds.

Re: Sharknado

hello party people. no workout yesterday due to work, today doubtful also. that's ok i am still so sore i can barely more. on the plus side i got to see my brother for a few hours. i did get dinner at chili's which was good, except they no longer have the choc chip paradise pie or choc milkshake. so, like, why even go to chilis? been up at this point about 24 hours, probably another 20 ahead of me. booo.

The song is 3 mins and it is going by that but you have it pretty much right on your break down. 30 reps with a hold at the bottom is basically it, but what you wont get at the end of the song is the continuous reps with no hold.

There is a timing that goes along with it so you cant say, 30 squats with a 3 second pause at the bottom cause on the chorus its like a 6 second pause.

Re: Sharknado

Is there anyway to do Bring Sally Up without the song?

Re: Sharknado

Anyone had pizza recently? We had a family get together last night and ordered a crap ton of Pizza Rita. Luckily, they have a gluten free crust. Needless to say, I ate about a whole medium pizza's worth of assorted slices. I woke up in the morning still full. I had a hard time downing my mass gain breakfast, though*input beyond satisfied "burp" here*: 4 whole large eggs, 1tb olive oil, 1 cup oatmeal, 12 oz. coffee, around 5-6oz. of whole milk.
