Used Games Rogue Bumper Plates

So Rogue is selling the used games gear and I figure this would be the perfect time to get the garage gym going. Was looking at getting the competition plates but it looks like they're even more expensive than the comp plates on the regular site. Is it worth having the competition plates or should I just roll with the HG plates which are a great price. Thanks!

Re: Used Games Rogue Bumper Plates

Depends on how you define "worth." What would your motivation be to purchase the comp plates?

Re: Used Games Rogue Bumper Plates

I would say for the thinner profile and minimal bounce...but its mostly because they look better. Will probably stick with the HGs unless they lower the prices.

Re: Used Games Rogue Bumper Plates

I saw the prices of some of the bumpers after the regionals thinking I would pick some up at a discount. The pricing discount really wasn't that much, considering the bumpers don't have a warranty.

Right now, 2 rogue training plates are $199 and 1 used rogue Comp plate is $128. Are comps really worth it to you?
