HSPU sub?

Hey guys! Loving crossfit so far, but I have a question regarding yesterday's (sunday) WOD...

There is absolutely no way that I can pull off anywhere near 21- 15- 9 HSPU's.. I'm new to them and I want to work on them at home and pull of a decent number of reps before I start doing them in the gym- where the risk/embarrassment factor is higher if I mess up (although when I can pull off a couple of sets it'll look and feel really good)..

I need to sub it and I've been looking for sub's, but haven't found a definitive answer- I assume military presses, but with what % of bodyweight should I do it?

Help ASAP would be appreciated. Thanks!

Put your feet on a block and slowly raise the incline steeper and steeper with your feet as you get better. Also, you can do slow(er) negatives. That's probably the best way as military press doesn't correlate well with HSPUs.

Partner spotted HSPU
Use a wall if you're reasonably close
Self spotted HSPU with a bar
Put your feet up on a bench/box/block and pike your hips so your hips are directly above your shoulders.
