24 hour CF Endurance wod

Anyone have any info about this? I brought it up a the end of a class tonight on kind of a joke and some thought it would be "fun". Interesting company we keep.

Anyways. Dug through CFE and also the forums here and couldnt find a thing.

Re: 24 hour CF Endurance wod

There are two that I've heard of.

The first is the 10 minutes max distance, 50 minutes rest for 24 hours. Either running, swimming, biking, or rowing.

The other is some event that a European CF box was organizing. Sounded like a bad idea, in my opinion.

That sounds pretty crazy, do you guys do marathons (half or full)? It's not associated with CF but in Alberta Canada they have what's called the Death Race...It's absolutely on my bucket list.

Re: 24 hour CF Endurance wod

Shane is talking about this one:
07.04.10 10min on x 50min off x 24 Hours

3+ Hours Before or During the Anaerobic Endurance Strength & Conditioning WOD

Complete ONE of the Following:

Swim, Bike, Run, C2, Or sport of choice.

At the Top of every Hour for 24 Hours, Do 10 Minutes of Maximum Distance Possible, Rest 50min and repeat for 24 Hours

Use the 50min between every effort to eat, sleep and recover.
To all who have served our country, Thank you for your service.
If your goal is athletic development or personal comfort, then yes, this workout is a horrible idea. If you want a grueling mental and physical challenge for the sake of the challenge of it, then go for it.
