waterproof mp3/ipod?

Has anyone done any swimming with an mp3 or ipod? Which case/product do you use? Any recommendations?

I've never had either before and am starting to research what to buy.

Thanks.

Re: waterproof mp3/ipod?

Have you ever heard of pelican cases? they work very well, i know of some friends that have used them for digital cameras. they are a little bit bulky so they might be difficult to work out with. here is the link to the website http://pelican.com/case_group_search.php?CaseGroup=iPod and they are made specifically for and ipod. i have seen them at academy sports for sale.

Also try Otterbox.

I have my Palm Treo in one while on mission. Pretty tough.

I have seen cases advertised while swimming with an iPod but do not know a model.

Re: waterproof mp3/ipod?

Thanks for the input.

I actually went ahead and got the "H2O Man Waterproof MP3 Player 512MB" by Snap Sights - it got decent reviews in what I read and I got a good price on ebay.

I'll post my impressions after I try it out. Thanks again.

Re: waterproof mp3/ipod?

I was in an Apple store 2 weeks ago. They had to have at least 6 different options for fully submerging your Ipod and keeping it dry. google search
