We have the classification sorted out. What is the best resource for learning and understanding how to file all the necessary paperwork to the IRS? Our current CPA setup is going to change and we will need to do it all on our own.

Any leads would be amazing.

Good Luck Andy - my guess is that it will require a bit of paperwork and time, and you probably won't do it right ( not your fault but the gov'ts ) - it might be best to find a payroll specialist to do this for you.

Workers' compensation insurance is another consideration.

Saying someone is a contractor does not mean that if they get hurt they will not try to get workers' compensation benefits. Your local insurance agent can help you decide if your people are employees under your state workers' compensation law.
