My first thought, go slow and steady especially on the burpees. No sense in gassing yourself on the burpees just to end up having to break up your thrusters into multiple sets.

Don't set the bar down. My over the bars will be my slow point, just have to make sure I don't jump off of one foot and get a no rep when tired.

Question: if you get no repped on a jump over. do you have to do the entire burpee over?

Didn't read the standards, but last time we had to do barf acing burpees you only had to redo the jump, not the chest to deck part of the burpees.

I believe it all depends on your muscle endurance on the thrusters. Burpees a nice pace for sure. Thrusters I believe most should take an approach to break them up smartly on the big sets. Once you get to 12 if you feel good, pour it on a bit and hang on to the end. OR if you saw Rich he never broke pace but then again, he is not humanh

Pacing. Take the time to rest at the top of the thruster.

Planning on doing the following for the thrusters:

I feel like doing to big of sets will just gas me and I'll end up breaking too often on sets of 2s and 3s and I don't want that. Get a nice chunk, take a quick break, back on them. Pause at the top. Steady through the burpees. I want <13 minutes. Not sure if it's realistic or not. But I watched the guy that did the standards video and he got right around 13 minutes and probably broke each set into 3s other than the first one. If I finish slow and have energy left in the tank, I'll go harder the second attempt on Monday.

I did it last night and 21 thrusters off the bat and felt OK after the 21 burpees. But the thrusters in the round of 18 was a wake-up call and it went down hill from there. If you hit a wall and are just completely fried to the point you can barely stand, find a steady cadence of 3 at a time, drop for 3 or 4 seconds, then 3 more. But the goal is to avoid getting to that point as long as you can.
