Wow really?

Someone posted this on FB. Just wondered if it's made it's rounds to people here.

I'm going to come out and say i don't like it. That's my opinion.

Re: Wow really?

Interesting.

I actually recognize one of the people in this, whatever it is. Let's just say they are a hopeful actor. They've done some legit work and had a decent small part in one good (debateable but let's say it did alright in it's genre though it barely broke even with a sizeable budget). I know that person is trying to stay in that field besides their CF endeavors when they are not a coach.

I mean, I hate to admit but my curiosity is peaked. I remember Every Second counts and that was great though that was obviously a pure documentry besides a docu-drama.

Some of the dramatic lines weren't really good but it's not like they were really bad. Just not good.

Re: Wow really?

Perhaps this is why Brick CF isn't going to the games?

Re: Wow really?

I really hope this is some sort of parody. Also, I can't imagine that HQ would sign off on this.

Re: Wow really?

Brick lost their chance to go to the games because they couldn't prove that all their athletes worked out at their gym for the required amount of time. One of the Brick athletes is seen in the video preparing for the games with CFHW. Who knows how much is real and how much is drama for the sake of the 'documentary'.

The interwebz also tell me the athlete I am thinking of probably had a hand in opening the New York version of Brick CF so, presumably, she traveled back and forth between the LA and NY a fair amount leading to a disrupted workouts in LA.

Just the speculation behind my comment.

and she occasionally hosted the update show

Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a parody. The Indiegogo page refers to it as the "Friday Night Lights" of CF.

Two weeks til the deadline and they've only raised $5,800 of their $20,000 goal so it doesn't look like they'll make it.
