Indeed. He's got some big time shoulder flexibility issues and new to the technique. Too bad he stop updating his workout log over at wannabebig.com

Completely different sport (powerlifting vs. olympic lifting) but it still amazes me too at the difference...

For Aussies , Guy Andrews is doing the Open in Masters division

Guy used to be an Aussie Lifesaving champion and did triathlon as well. Those guys were damm tough endurance athletes

This guy is doing pretty well so far, especially for how big he is. NFL.com lists him at 240 (current FB for the Saints).

Yes AJ should be able to power snatch 300.. His other numbers might have been in his PL days..? Lofty goal from strongest to most fit.. wish him good luck and his best efforts.

Re: Celebrities/Athletes in Open

Former NBA and Olympic basketball player Bimbo Coles is competing in Mid-Atlantic Masters division, currently sitting at 17th in the region. Pretty impressive in my opinion.

How many from each Master's division go to the games?

Naw, he squatted over 1,000 lbs (maybe over 1,100?) in his "PL" days.

edit:

Well that would be with a suit, so maybe those are his "raw" numbers.
