Re: Crossfit Games

Unofficially, as far as I know, Sectionals will be late February / early March. Regionals will be similar to last year - late April / early May.

Re: Crossfit Games

I heard a rumor that Rogue has locked down one of the Sectional events and that is is going to take place on a rather large stage, as part of another very large event...in March.

I'm patiently waiting to find out the closest regional event to me. Hopefully it's far enough away from Baltimore that I don't have to compete against all the monsters that were at the Hopper Challenge at BWI...Chris! I'll be pulling for you the whole way through this year's events, you are fun to watch.

Chris is definitely fun to watch. I'll be spectating on whatever regional is closest. Philly might be a pretty central location... who knows. Anyone know where last years Mid-Atlantic region held regionals? I suppose I could google it...

Re: Crossfit Games

Bo, I expect there to be at least one greater Philly sectional event, possibly even a city one and a Delaware Valley one. I don't see them changing the location of the Regional from Blauer though, I think that place has a ton of square footage.

I'm also wondering if you'll be able to compete in multiple sectional events if you fail to qualify at your first one, assuming they are on different weekends. I feel like people will try to go to the ones where they feel the competition will be the weakest if they don't limit you based on your home address or something like that.

Re: Crossfit Games

Info will be forthcoming in the not too distant future. The infrastructure to support this and "do it right" is pretty daunting. Staff is pretty well swamped and we also have to keep the rest of the house clean and running. But when it's time, you won't be able to miss the launch.

Thanks, Dale! Keep up the good work!

Bill posted about it. It's going to take place at the Arnold classic.
