Re: CF Games 2009

I'm excited. I'm worlds away from being able to compete with you fire breathers but just following the athletes, the ramp up, and the competitions should be a lot of fun.

Now they said no scaling, but if people show up just to be spectators will they still be able to non-competitively (oxymoron with crossfit?) do the workouts, as in games past? That was how it worked, right? Couldn't anyone that showed up try their hand at the workouts?

I don't understand, they scaled the ones from this year?
What part was scaled?

some of the competitors scaled... no one in the finishing groups, but if you look at the sheets you can see folks that scaled.

Re: CF Games 2009

To (hopefully) clarify: I think the deal was that if you scaled, you were automatically excluded from contention.

Re: CF Games 2009

I'm looking forward to it. I'm just not sure if I will be ready by then, kind of wished that I was going to do the East Coast challenge in Baltimore going on next weekend. Wonder if it is still too late to sign up?

Adam-
It may not be too late, but Call John Alanis at CF BWI or Rudy at CF Alexandria, to be sure.

Re: CF Games 2009

Does anybody know how they are going to balance out the extremely competitive areas with others that are not quite so.

I hope they're planning a qualifier for Australia too! I'm planning my next vacay around being in California for that weekend - hope I'm competing not just watching!

Re: CF Games 2009

I imagine they wouldn't move them too far from HQ, logistically speaking.
