Need shoes for lateral & plyo routines

For drills with a lot of lateral movement or Plyo type routines do I need a shoe that's still in the ankle to prevent my foot from rolling? Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Re: Need shoes for lateral & plyo routines

Under Armor makes a shoe to help with lateral stability, but try not to rely too much on footwear, the best way to prevent rolled ankles is by strengthening them. Just what I have noticed over the years of playing football and training.
