I laughed out loud when I read that line by Rip in the new CFJ. Maybe it's the gin.

I think I'll propose Rip's postulate:
Thou shalt not be a physical pile of crap.


Anyway, one good article among many in the journal.

I agree, this was a great CFJ article. Especially enjoyed the observation that soccer is the most dangerous (for the knees) sport known to man. I play on an over 40 soccer team and it made my laugh at the truth I want to deny.

Definitely an awesome article. I read it thinking it may be of use to my parents, both stroke surviviors in their twilight years, but found an article aimed squarely at me, about to turn 40 in just over a week, and carrying around over 20 years' worth of training injuries.
I actually feel fitter and look better than I was then - it's just the grimacing as I walk up and down stairs due to the pain in my knees!
