Warming Up

Hello, fellow crossfitters. I am relatively new to CrossFit (approx. 2 months), and I have completely revolutionized my training methods because of it. I love every second of every workout...except "Hope" lol. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew a good warm-up that has worked for them? I do some random joint exercises and such especially with my shoulders. If anyone could let me know a good method of warming up (especially shoulders), it would be great! Thanks

Re: Warming Up

I usually do some general warmup stuff like rowing or jumproping, then find some stuff on that's specific to whatever I'm doing that day...i.e. shoulder girdle and thoracic spine if I'm going overhead or doing pullups, hip/hamstring/glutes if I'm squatting or deadlifting, etc.

Re: Warming Up

I will jump rope, doing singles, for about five minutes. I crank out a couple pullups, and take a page from the official CrossFit warmup, do some GHD situps, some back extensions, and some overhead squats. Then I do like Eric does, and work on mobility and stretching for whatever area I know I'm going to be hitting that day.
