Re: Climbing Rope advice
Trying to remember, but I think I bought mine from http://www.knotandrope.com/Store/pc/...p?idCategory=3
I bought 25' and had them tie an eylet on one end so i could hang it up in the oak tree in my backyard. I want to say it came out to be around $60. |

Re: Climbing Rope advice
The black or white ropes may be intended for battle rope exercises. The difference between a climbing rope and a battle rope is the attachment. You don't want to climb up a rope intended for battle rope attachment. You could find yourself falling 15'.

Re: Climbing Rope advice
thanks Thomas. I ordered a 25' rope with attachments (thanks Christopher). cost me $87 including shipping. hated to spend that much for a rope but just couldn't find one anywhere.

Re: Climbing Rope advice
I get mine from the local Army surplus store. They are $1.50/ft. The manilla ropes. They are WAY more messy but have WAY more bite to them. Especially if you chalk your hands. We use only the manilla ropes.
